Not so optimistic to hear his signing. Imagine we could have signed established centre back and full back using those hefty sum. Bruno Peres and Vrsaljko moved to their respective club this summer for “modest” fee plus Garay is available for 15-20M Euro. Where the heck FdB gonna field him anyway? Perisic and Candreva are definite starter in both flanks and Banega occupies regista position. If he fails eventually then I am not surprised. We never had good story with Portuguese legion. Sergio Conceicao, Marco Caneira, Vitor Pele, Nuno Maniche, and Ricardo Quaresma are all failure. Management have failed to identify which sector we should strengthen using those money.
