Really guys? FDB has been on the job for like less than a month. He barely knows all the players names, hahah…1loss or even 2losses to start the campaign will not determine how we finish the season. Us and Fiorentina were like top 2 during first half of season last yr and look what happened. Also Juve and Roma were terrible 1st half and look where they finished.
I think he will make it work in the midfield and up front. But my biggest concern is our def and that’s something FDB cannot fix given the players we currently have. I think we’ll know by the end of next month how the team really looks under FDB.
dont worry we will buy one defender until end of transfer market,i guess its Criscito and back up for Miranda and Murillo will be Medel not Ranochia.I hope so..
We might pick up Martin Caceres too for free. He can play as RB, CB and LB. Not sure about his physical condition though since he has been out injured for long time. We can finally get rid of Ranocchia for good.

FDB has Suning’s money and full support (100 M spent these last 2 months) without sacrificing any star, which basically like a giant middle finger to FIFA’s FFP. Do not forget that FDB accepted this job with all its consequences. The guy got balls.
But most of the transfer money spent to unproven joao mario which is very bad introduction for new owner. That’s only proving their limited knowledge about calcio. As an old fans, I am very concern about this. It’s like we have another moratti but with no love for the club. If we going like this, I doubt we can win scudetto in near future.

Yeah I did. I did judge Mancini from his Milan derby debut. I have to admit that. He did quite well held out Milan. It was a boring match not to mention he too inherited Mazzarri’s squad less than two weeks before the Milan derby. Ranieri won in his debut 3-1 against Bologna and even Strama showed spectacular yet unbalanced football in his 5-4 results vs Genoa. Start is important to see whether the coach has what it takes to revive Inter or not. Gasp had whole summer to prepare Inter and yet he failed miserably at away games vs Palermo. It doesn’t depend on the time that you keep blabbering about. It is all about coach’s own ability to instill his believe, mentality, and methods to his squad.
all the coach you mention there are a coach with serie a experience.. and FDB is not a coach with serie a experience.. give him time to adapt with the team and italian football.. it’s already happen.. he’s our coach now .. let’s hope for the best..^^

Now you are putting the blame on those 3 idiots. Nagatomo did well in Mazzarri and Leo era and D’Ambrosio had solid end of season last year with Mancini. Got my point?? Yes, it depends on coach’s ability to revive and use these mediocre players so that they are useful. (I don’t mention Rano because every coach have failed to revive his career).

He used 4-3-3 against Celtic and 3-5-2 (though I saw it as 3-1-3-3) against Chievo. See?? In first game he already knew that his 4-3-3 gonna work with this squad and yet he said it himself in the after match press conference that he changed to 3-5-2 because he saw Chievo using rigid formation. He never used 3 at the back but he insisted to change based on Chievo’s game play. I see uncertainty here.
de Boer switched from the 4-3-3 to this 5-3-2/3-5-2 mainly because the players were not in the right physical condition required for his playing style. and yes, even tho mancini used somewhat similar tactics, those formations only look alike on the tactics board, in reality, the two has nothing to do with each other. somehow i can still believe this “excuse” because i can see a reason behind it (well, if you watched any Ajax game in the past few years you know what i mean. high pressing game cannot be played if the players are indeed in shitty condition – and beside the coach, several players mentioned this problem, so theres gotta be something to it)
If we don’t win this game then I imagine FdB to be sacked before the season ends. His statement in every press conference never assures me let alone his inability to identify Inter lack of physical fitness and suitable formation. I also hate to see his dumb look and gesture in Chievo vs Inter. Tinkering with formation, saying unsure statement, and having those “confused and helpless” look, he does remind me of someone from the past. Yes, he reminds me a lot with the man who put Ranocchia as centre forward, non other than Andrea Stramaccioni.
