Gianluca Di Marzio gives updates from the now complete meeting between Pantaleo Corvino and Piero Ausilio over Stevan Jovetic. The deal doesn’t have closure yet but there is optimism that a deal can still be completed by Wednesday when the mercato shuts. Fiorentina would like the loan fee lowered or for Inter to keep part of his wages on their books but it is unknown how Inter feel about this currently.

There’s no point to keep him, if we will be playing 433, he would have to be a striker, and with Icardi, Eder and Barbosa it’s impossible. Jovetic didn’t played much, although he gave us a few important points last season. I think he’s leaving because of Ljajic and our new two players. Still, injuries.. Good luck.
that’s what I think about, he have no room in this squad. we play with 4-3-3 with winger not SS or AMF. Jovetic not good enough for striker or winger.
Unfortunately Jojo didn’t work out for us, he is too ball-hugger and does not pass to Icardi [selfish]. He is not as good as before his injury, he seems to have a mental problem in giving 100% being afraid of an injury.
I can understand that INTER don’t want to buy him, but giving him to Fiorentina?!

if anything other players disappointed more, but I guess that’s how we operate no common sense, shaq was not bad we got rid of him, ljajic did better than anyone could in the world in the short period of time he had and he was changing games every time he played you know what we did to him and u know how he is doing now, jojo was our best player in the us games and the best player last season when we were killing everyone in the beginning of the season and did not get injured neither and look what we are doing no common sense again
Still mad about ljajić, and I really like Jovetic, but he won’t get played for us if he stays. I think it’s just a dry loan, so hopefully he’ll perform well and return to us

no offence bro, but i think shaq, ljalic and jojo is way overrated. although they where never given a real chance, they where very inefficient. candreva should be the example to follow. jojo i really didn’t like because he wasted countless opportunities with guarin-like shots. ljalic could dribble but nothing more. and shaq wasn’t good enough tactically. its arguable though that they all would have done better with FDB than with mancini. (FDB actually has a game plan)
ljajic did excellent given the little time he was give last 5 to 10 min each game

Just everything. Okay, for Shaq I can agree that he wasn’t given a chance but in the games he did play, he didn’t show much.
Ljajić did better than anyone in the world could and changed every game? Maybe in some other dimension, in this dimension he got 18 starts and 9 times subbed in and manage to score just 3 goals and assist 3.. Come on, that’s not great, that certainly isn’t better than anyone in the world could. He got rejected from Roma, he got rejected by us, there is a reason for that. And we know how is he doing now, what that means, he didn’t even start for Torino and showed absolutely nothing when he got subbed in..
Jovetic was our best player? You must be joking, he got 18 starts and got subbed in 8 times, he scored 3 goals in the first two games and just 3 more in the 1300 minutes he got after those games. Icardi, Perisic, Brozovic, Handanovic, Miranda, Murillo contributed much much more than him.
Ljajic and Jovetic were supposed to be our playmakers because Mancini sold all of our other playmakers and they managed to collect just 5 assists together, just to give an insight how bad that is, Icardi who is a pure poacher and practically never leaves the opposition box managed to collect 4.
They were both very incosisent, they had two or three games were they played really good and in the rest of them they didn’t do anything. Jovetic looked very sluggish and always took to much time on the ball, slowing down our already slow attack.
I liked Ljajic better but his attitude is toxic, he got into fight with every coach he had, he even entered a physical altercation with the coach at Fiorentina.
I’m for one am glad that we got rid of them, especially Jovetic who has one of the highest salaries in our team.
In most of the games when Ljajic played, he was a warrior in the field when the whole team was passive. Even if he was tactically unstable or defensively weak, but those problems could’ve been solved.. Anyway hopefully we go on a higher caliber from now on and we fix this team in all its aspects
I’m agree with you about Ljajic.. not about shaq and jojo.
