Stevan Jovetic‘s move to Fiorentina is getting closer. Gazzetta dello Sport report that Inter have agreed to the free loan of the forward but have two conditions for La Viola. Fiorentina must either pay Jovetic’s 3.5m euro net salary in full or alternatively allow the insertion of a compulsory redemption option within the loan.

let me understand.. if Jojo is featured in one match with inter before 31st of Dec we must pay 14.5mil… what will happen contract wise if we loaned him to Fiorentina or any other team instead of selling him?

yea we give them jovetic for free to avoid paying city right now. maybe next season they will sign jojo after all.
But Brozo’s departure would weaken our midfield in terms of squad depth. I don’t count Melo as a player and Medel is one dimensional (just a destroyer). If Kondo, Banega or JM gets injured, we’re in trouble unless we’ve got some capable youngster, we would find ourself with medel playing as a box to box midfield which is not his role as we’ve seen last game.
in our financial situation we can’t afford to sit a 25mil player on the bench..
