Roma’s new Brazilian right back Bruno Peres spoke to Gianluca Di Marzio whereby he selected his own dream team, a 4-3-3 comprised only of his fellow countrymen. Within his chosen XI, no less than four former Inter players make an appearance. Perhaps most surprising is the inclusion of the Emperor Adriano, whose career has been dogged by alcohol problems in recent years. Here is the XI in full:
Dida; Cafu, Aldair, Lúcio, Roberto Carlos; Ronaldinho, Falcão, Rivaldo; Neymar, Ronaldo, Adriano.

ooooooooh i remembre those day brother when we chose inter with adriano

Who’s Falcao??? Why not Emerson?
he actually was on track when he went back to Flamengo
Adriano signed a one-year contract for Brazilian club Flamengo on May 6, 2009, the club with which he started his career.[26] On his debut after returning to Flamengo, played on May 31, 2009, he scored a goal against Atlético Paranaense.[27][28] On June 21, 2009, he scored his first hat-trick for Flamengo in the 4–0 win over Internacional in the Brazilian Série A.,[29] his performances would be instrumental to lead Flamengo to their first Brazilian Serie A title since 1992.
On 31 January 2010, Adriano scored his second hat-trick since his return, this time in a 5–3 comeback win in the Fla-Flu derby against rivals Fluminense in the 2010 Rio de Janeiro State League.
Then things went downhill after he went to AS Roma
Dida?? really?
Yes, I couldnt believe it either. His inclusion completely shocked me too.
Adriano. Pes legend 😀
Ronaldo, Adriano…
Gabigol, it’s your turn.
I hope Gabigol is Adriano+Neymar in one package
is more realistic to say that Gabigol is 1/2 Adriano + 1/2 Neymar
gabigol is left footed neymar
No way that is possible. Adriano was a sheer power, built like a panzer from day one. Comparing apples and oranges seems hardly fair. Gabigol will set his own standard.
hope so..at least he can proved that he worth that much
Well….I count so much on him +J.mario,,,cant wait to see them play next match !
He was such a beast. So much wasted potential by alcohol and cheap women. Well, at least Icardi doesn’t drink 🙂
Icardi can only dream to be half of player Adriano was. That was the most complete striker I’ve ever seen. Childhood hero, made me like Inter.
that 2 goals against udinese
solo run and a wicked curling free kick
we would won easily on pro evo soccer back then using Inter with Adriano+Vieri or Adriano+Ibra back then haha
The best combo of Inter that I have witnessed – R9 and Vieri
agreed with you the best I’ve ever seen. he was monster striker. his speed, drible, shoot, power was awesome. His level is above Ibra.

If only Adriano got his head straight to football, Messi and CR7 could worship him by now.
I’m quite sure Messi and CR7 would not survive at Serie-A against defensive gods like JZ, Wall-e, Maldini, Nesta, Thuram, Cannavaro. Adriano at his prime had lots of fun with all of them 🙂
Ah,,,the moment of the glory serie A. Once, I like Parma team at that moment.
You made my eyes tear mate….a lot of legends you have mention I really miss right now….look at we have right now…froggy and nagashit!
Adriano was a beast and in was huge fan of him. But you could be surprised how effective is Icardi, especially considering how bad was Inter last seasons and with what kind of teammates he had to played. Both Icardi and Adriano have same amount of goals for Inter in Serie A – 48. But Icardi needed 93 games for that, compared to Adriano who was needed 123!
We still have to appreciate those Icardi’s goal ratio. But let’s be fair, prime Adriano lived in the era of serie-A defensive gods. Still remember how he dribbled past Wall-e at Roma.
Even Gattuso, Nesta and Maldini got really hard day tripple marked him. I still remember how he danced with Thuram and Cannavaro like they were nothing. Ohhh boy. What a wasted talent. I will tell Adriano’s story to my future son to teach him that talents are always not enough. Imagine what would happen if Adriano had the strong mental and discipline state like JZ had. He would have ruled the world for years. Bad friends, bitches and booze ruled him out of the game.
