Ivan Perisic was Interviewed by Inter Channel and the Croatian winger had a couple of things to say about the Nerazzurri’s current situation. He also discussed the performance against Turkey in the WCQ.
He stated: “I feel good, we played well against Turkey but we were unlucky. We had a lot of chances but only came away with a 1-1 draw. Either way, if we continue in that vein, Croatia can go far. As I said before the international break, some new faces have joined Inter and we need time – it’s not easy for players joining from abroad. People expect them to score and win games immediately but we have to help both them and the new coach. We can only be successful if we work together”.
He then went on to say: “The coach has said that he’ll give everyone a chance. We’ll need everyone to do their bit because we’re involved in three competitions – Serie A, the Coppa Italia and Europa League. We won’t be able to manage all that with only 12, 13 or 14 players. I’m sure everyone will be ready to give 100%”
