FCI1908: The possibilities for defence, midfield and attack

FCInter1908.it have went into some detail about how Inter could line-up later today against Empoli.

Starting with the defence, they say Handanovic in goals, D’Ambrosio and Santon at full back and Murillo and Miranda in the middle. Furthermore they add Miangue will be on the bench again.

Moving into the midfield, Medel appears to have recovered from his cramps and will be partnered by Kondogbia from the off.

Joao Mario will be deployed in a more advanced role they go on to say, something he hasn’t not done in the past and therefore should cope with little problem. Perisic will occupy his usual wing and Icardi will undoubtedly be the starting striker. The only somewhat doubtful position is that of the opposite wing. Candreva or Eder could be given the nod but it’s thought the latter has the advantage over his compatriot.

The lineup in FCInter1908’s eyes therefore looks like: Handanovic; D’Ambrosio, Miranda, Murillo, Santon; Medel, Kondogbia; Joao Mario; Perisic, Icardi, Eder or Candreva.
