At the end of the 2-0 victory against Empoli, Assane Gnoukouri spoke to with Inter Channel by analyzing the match:
“I am happy to be back on the field and also happy for the victory. From a personal point of view I have to work more and more to find space. I found Inter positive, it’s a nice group of which I am happy to be part of. Before entering the field De Boer told me to play simple and calm; Candreva also told me to play quiet and just touches.”

it was nice to see him, although Jojo didn’t play!
hopefully you will become one of our future star
nice to see how candreva is helping young player(s).
bravo candreva !
go gnou, go … !
Good to see Gnou back on the field. We have the right coach to bring him along now
Yes nice to see him back. Of cause with no Banega and Broso in front of him the road back to the field gets shorter and he really didn’t much in his 20 minutes on the field, but this WAS his first game in a year, so he´s forgiven 😉
Invicible for 20 minutes.. bad positioning..
Yep, didn´t do much on the pitch, but again – his 1 game in a year!
So much improved in the game againts bologna.. good boy, really
Yes improved a lot, and was great against bologna
This young man just surpassed Brozo in Deboer’s pecking order.
no not really.. he didn´t show much last night to do so, but Melo on the other hand was really good!
Well it is a step further than Mr Brozo could make
Still believe Broso will be back in front of Gnoukouri when he gets back into the squad again…
Although I would like to see Inter compete on all three fronts this season, I’d rather ensure we are constantly fielding our best XI in Serie A week in, week out. Therefore I think EL should be a platform for our youth players to find minutes, and start to learn and adapt to FDB’s tactics in game situations. Ajax’s young players have a much easier time breaking into the first team because they’ve been playing in the same system since they’re in grade school. We need to be able to have confidence that our young players can step onto the field as a starter and fulfill their duties because they already understand what the coach expects of them. It’s easier said than done, but I really hope to see our entire Primavera system operating similar tactics to the first team within a few years. We already have plenty of talent, we just need to nurture it into a powerhouse, similar to what Barcelona has done.
no problem to jump in and in serie a when team is sure about wining the match.
Agreed, but a full 90 is always preferred over a sub for the last 20 minutes.
sure!
than; full 90 and let him grow !
Agree and thats more or less the same thing Thohir said yesterday, that Inter wants to do the same thing Ajax is doing, building the club around the Ajax-model… Still I think the primavera is playing 3-5-2 if I´m not mistaken…
Exactly, that is why I mentioned it. Technically, we need to copy the Barcelona model, who copied the Ajax model, but without selling their most important players. As for the primavera, I truly hope they stop using 3 defender formations in general. The only big teams that found success using 3 at the back were Conte’s Juventus and Guardiola’s Bayern because they had an elite regista in Pirlo and Xabi Alonso respectively in which they built the team around. Realistically, the only two players I see filling the regista role with similar quality are Kroos and Verratti, but other than that the traditional regista role seems to be outdated in modern football, most coaches preferring to stick with a trequartista or a box to box playmaker.
With Sunning´s backing I´m sure we won´t sell our biggest talents! We´ll – hopefully -be a “new Barca” spending big on a couple of world class players to lift the team and then filling positions with homemade talented players, who have been playing the high pressour 4-2-3-1 football Franky wants us to play, in Primavera and the other youth teams as well!
