According to reports from TuttoMercatoWeb, Inter’s search for a new central defender has led them to France. The Nerazzurri have sent representatives to analyse the performances of Marseille’s Karim Rekik more closely.
The club has decided the team is in need of a new defensive partner for Miranda, with Jeison Murillo’s recent performances offering few guarantees for the future.
Inter are exploring a number of opportunities which allow them to reinforce the squad in January, and Rekik is viewed as a potentially low-cost alternative to the likes of Victor Lindelöf.
Born in Den Haag, the Dutchman is a player who is appreciated by his fellow countryman Frank De Boer, who could help facilitate a move to Serie A.

Inter fans are something else! Every few months or year change coach. Whoever want a change in coach now at this time clearly aren’t thinking. We just need to fix or defence and twek the attacking department and we should be good. We are unlucky at the moment. And the coach needs more time to understand the league but he isn’t doing bad at all. I will stick with him until the end of the season and maybe beyond. I can see great things to come especially when he has his requested players.IMO!
please no more average players ,,,I would rather to sign one or two highly profile players (In the correct positions which are full back and center back) than to sign a looot of shitty players without any benefits !
We don’t need low cost, questionable, solutions only to say that we will take new player. I think that’s enough with quantitative method on transfer market, now we need only few, but high quality players, who can rise the quality of the team. If we can’t find or get high quality defender this winter or we’re restricted from Financial Fair Play, better don’t do nothing. Who can say that Rekik is better than Murillo?! Let alone that he’s young player, coming from another league and with the time that he will need for adaptation the season will be over!
