Stefano Vecchi is reportedly set to deploy a 4-4-1-1 formation in tomorrow night’s Europa League fixture against Southampton, his inaugural match in charge of the first team.
Éver Banega is likely to perform in the trequartista role, in behind lone frontman Mauro Icardi. Meanwhile, Ivan Perišić will return to the left of midfield.
Gary Medel will play in the central midfield alongside Assane Gnoukouri who is set to replace the suspended Marcelo Brozović. Antonio Candreva will continue on the right hand side.
Andrea Ranocchia could be given a rare start alongside Miranda, whilst Danilo D’Ambrosio may be given another chance having found himself very much on the periphery under Frank De Boer. Yuto Nagatomo will cover the left flank, whilst Samir Handanović will continue as his side’s undisputed number one.

Relax man 🙂 I just said that Naga has been doing better than Santon lately, not that he´s world class!! If we want a stronger defensive minded midfield we could only add Melo in stead of Gnou…. Ranno is strong in the air NIOTHING else, and South plays an “air-based-stile of play”
