Speaking to France Football, Jonathan Maarek, agent of Inter midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia, attempted to speak positive word despite his client not going through a particularly brilliant time at Inter:
“I would be lying if I said that Geoffrey is living the best time of his life. But this is a very important time to grow, because it is when you live difficult phases that there is strengthened. During his career he has done nothing but progress since the beginning. his arrival at Inter was a further step to get to the biggest club in the world. That was the idea, and it still remains.”
Announced as the target of Olympique Marseille, the former Monaco would still not be convinced by the idea of returning to Ligue 1, at least according to the words of Maarek:
“The Olympique project will not be privileged by the player or his advisers. The thing more importantly now, is to find the pleasure of playing. The transfer issue for now does not arise, but there is a transfer window in January, we will see what will happen then.”

If his manager mean that Inter is a stepping stone, then the hell with him and K-dog!!
INTER should be every players dream !!! no other club has such a beautiful history like inter! you want to go to barcelona, real madrid? sure go there… your career will get destroyed just like Kovacic
For player, it’s a stepping stone. For the club, it’s an invesment. There’s nothing wrong with it.
I miss the 90’s when agents weren’t part of football and didn’t bitch an moan about their clients’ emotional state.
