well, many of us also think that was too harsh but it was completely justified.
The intervention itself didn’t deserve a red but Rodrigez was last man and Icardi was rushing towards the goal, reaching the ball before the keeper. In that case Rodrigez prevented clear goal threat and the red was on spot.
And putting his arm infront of Icardi’s face… That alone deserve yellow. Plus the last man. Deserved red card imo
