Current Fluminense and former Inter Milan defender Jonathan Moreira spoke to La Gazzetta Dello Sport about his career and what’s he going through currently in Rio de Janeiro. The Brazilian has stated that his time at Inter was “never going anywhere” with the injuries that he suffered whilst there.
“We were talking about the contract renewal with the club, the doctors told me that I had nothing serious, but I always had so much pain.”, said the Brazilian. He nevertheless considers Italy his second home stating that “I experienced good and bad times wearing the jerseys of Inter and Parma.”
Speaking about the current situation with the club, he said that the current side “needs more time to work. Also, there are too many foreigners and very few Italians. This is a problem, and it was the same when I was there. It should always be united.”
