In an interview to Radio Incontro Olympia while recollecting his old memories, former Argentine striker revealed that he threatened to go to Roma before joining Inter while he was in Lazio. He then went on to join the Nerazzurri and scored more than 50 goals in his two spells. Crespo also described the current league positions:
“Lazio are taking advantage of their enemies. Roma are more compact team. At this moment even Inter and Napoli are far better team than them though the league is saying something different!”
