Mediaset Premium report that Genoa have became another loan option for Gabigol come January. In recent years, Genoa have helped to re-launch the seemingly failing careers of players now performing to expectations such as Suso and Diego Perotti and Gabigol could benefit similarly should he join the Grifone. Should star striker Leonardo Pavoletti leave for Napoli in the mercato, the likelihood of a move for Gabigol will increase significantly also. This will come at a cost for Genoa however. Inter would use the loaning of their 30 million euro man as an incentive to allow them to sign midfielder Tomas Rincon.

Genoa has practically been our “reserve team” in Serie A for years so sending him there would be fine – I guess they´re still playing 3-4-3, right? If they are that would also prepare him to play in our 3-4-3 – if that´s the system Pioli is gambling on in the future as well…
Sending him there in an exchange loan deal for Rincon would be a great deal!
