Speaking to Calciomercato.com, Dario Canovi revealed client Thiago Motta almost returned to Inter last year: It happened when the coach was Mancini, their bid was ready but Paris Saint-Germain didn’t give up on him because they considered him too important for the squad. Today things have changed and he won’t renew, but no return to Italy is scheduled. Maybe he’ll move to a league assuring big salaries, for example China.”

no more.
can we bring him as a short term solution until the summer, then he can go to china if he wants.
all in for this.. even more for cambiasso^^
Although on a lesser scale than other decisions, selling Thiago Motta can definitely be added to the Ever growing list, pun intended, of mistakes made post-Treble. He could’ve been passed the baton from Cambiasso as our midfield general, which we now certainly lack, but was sold and replaced by Guarin. Admittedly, looking back, Guarin did as well as he could in possibly the worst team in Inter’s history, but still having Motta around could’ve certainly helped the situation a lot more.
so true. motta, maicon, cambiasso… we had one of the best leaders in this game and we sell them in their prime… its unbelieveable how bad the understanding of football in the inter management is….
The kind of player we need, holding modfielder
