An owner or a company affiliated with the owner can sign sponsorships up on til 30% of the clubs revenue not more! And ours is around 200mil right? Meaning not higher than 60mil in total sponsorship money.
Still a valuable addition to the team though
is enough to cover our that FFP thing for this winter.
FFP is stupid. It does nothing but force smaller teams to sell their best players to stay within the guidelines that are placed on the teams. If a team folds because of losing way to much money, then it’s their problem. If they wanted to fix football some form of salary cap/transfer cap would be put in place so the same 5-10 teams literally can’t build super-teams and make football more competitive. Owners wouldn’t have to resort to circumventing FFP such as Suning is doing (and good on them for telling UEFA to eat a cock).
The idea is good and positive (don’t spend more than you got) but it doesn’t seem to work right
The FFP is stupide in the way that there is too much flaws in the rule system! But one thing is clear that this is necessery because the football clubs around the world and even Inter was about too make their own feurneral!
They were spending and spending and spending money they didn’t have and there is more then just the club in the picture! There is banks, share holders/owners, others clubs and people that especing money etc!
And where are you going when you are out of money and can’t borrow more and there is someone else on the other side that want money right now?
And the system is not made too make the leagues more competitive rather too save the big clubs! Even if the panalty is less hard against smaller teams!
