SportItalia report that during an informal discussion with Sporting Director Piero Ausilio at a hotel in central Milano, he revealed Inter’s strategy for the remainder of the transfer window.
According to the report, Ausilio declined to to an interview with the microphones turned on but indicated that Inter wont be signing any other player for the rest of the transfer window. Further, Ausilio allegdly indicated that Inter have decided to stick with Kondogbia and that Andrea Ranocchia will be allowed to leave but only for the rigth price.
Impressive to write a hole article with no quotations what so ever… this is all “allegedly” and “it seems like”…. No substance at all in this pease.
If Suning have any real ambition of actually reaching 3rd place they will sign a DM and a FB in this window as well.
We don’t need an extra DM, we just got Gagliardini.. We could really use a FB though.

What Inter really needs is traditional defensive midfielder that can really help out the CB’s and FB’s when defending.
There is a hole between the midfield and defense right now because Inter lacks such a player and Gagliardini wont fix that.
he have good interceptions and well at defending so he’s good at cdm
He’s DM, something like Motta, but more agile
I’m not trusting Gagliardini to take us to the Cl, hovewer our previous and current coaches have all said that it’s a hindranse that our squad is too big. And seeing that we can’t really get rid of the ones we don’t need, we can’t buy more players.. especially not midfield where I think we have plenty of options. I still think that new FB’s will give us the most notable leap in quality.
What about fullbacks????
Since we do not have decent fullbacks, it’s better to use 3-4-3 as follows:

J.MARIO – GAGLIARDINI – KONDOGBIA – BROZOVIC

2 road blocks:
1- We need to get rid of at least one of our shitty FBs to open squad spots.
2- Even if we receive an offer for our shitty FBs, the following will occur:
2a- Santon will FAIL the medical
2b- Nagashit will refuse the transfer
3- Even if we can do the impossible, there are very few clubs open to let go their fullbacks in the middle of the season. (e.g. Man Utd just said they will not sell Darmian, or VW said they are open to Rodriguez leaving in June)
It was informal discussion and the mic was turned off. It means he actually didn’t want to tell the reporter about our next target. Maybe to prevent interest from other clubs. Who knows? I believe at least one defender (FB/CB) will come this month.
