Am I the only one who would continue with Kondogbia and Gagliardini in the middle?? I thought he was brilliant today MUCH better than I hoped for, technically very strong, good simple passes and played like he had played with the team for years and as if he was 28 years old! Plus he´s great at supporting Kondogbia too!
I like Broso a lot but he often lose track of his position in the middle and that leaves Kondogbia stranded but Gagliar always was on the right spot at the right time!

The important thing is there is good competition in the midfield now. So Pioli can select the team based on what he sees in training

I se him much more as a central box to box player, not a destroyer even though he knows how to tackle. He reminds of Marchisio or as Reja said; Dino Baggio who had it all; technic, vision and more than anything else; great positioning like Gagliardini showed he had too yesterday. He could also be a “new Nicola Berti” remember him? But not a destroyer!
