Piero Ausilio spoke in length to PremiumSport ahead of Inter’s Coppa Italia game tomorrow: “The Coppa Italia is the goal for the season. After a few games there is a chance to bring home a trophy that could be the first of the new era. We will play our best to qualify and move on.”
He then spoke on Stefano Pioli’s appointment: “Pioli my choice? I am pleased with Pioli as coach, but it was a joint decision. There is never fatherhood in the choice of a coach, which is the most important figure of the club with the president, and it was done in harmony with Suning.”
The mercato was the next topic he addressed: “This is the what we wanted, we still have some sales to do, especially some young players. This is the team that we had in mind, we are pleased to have it and Banega and Kondogbia are a very important part of that. We knew that they just need to find form and trust, especially Kondogbia who today is demonstrating everything that we expected, but we knew even before that he would. Palacio, Eder and Gabigol? We have been very clear: there will be nothing more on the incoming front, while there will be some things done on the output side of things with young people. Those mentioned are all important and they demonstrate it with their performances. Behind the Inter victories there is not only the starting eleven, but especially those players that come off the bench and make a difference, such as Eder and Palacio against Chievo: I’m sure this will happen shortly also for Gabigol.”
Ausilio then spoke on recently departed Stevan Jovetic: “If I’ve complimented him? I’ve done so indirectly through his agent, we are happy for him. Stevan is an outstanding boy, a great professional and a great player, I’m happy and convinced that will do very well in Seville, then we will see the situation in June. He is our player, an investment that we have made and these results are proving us right.”
He was then asked if there were any regrets over Frank de Boer’s appointment: “No regrets, we must look at the present and the future: This is Pioli’s time, the past can serve as a reminder to be more careful. De Boer is a very good coach, at that time we had difficulties related to other situations. He is not the only one responsible for two or three months that were not the best for Inter. But with Pioli we started well and we want to continue to do so, this is the only thing that matters.”
He concluded the interview addressing the Ranocchia rumours: “There are opportunities. Ranocchia has a lot of interest from abroad, we will talk with him if he wants to find more playing time or if he wants wait for an opportunity at Inter: We would be happy to keep him, otherwise we’ll find a solution together with him and who is following him.”

About belotti, i agree but cant he play together with icardi?i wont mind if we only have icardi, gabi n pinamonti as our fwd. But how bout colombian man in chinese league n caprari?
caprari is a SS like jovetic.. the system that pioli use for his team, it would be difficult for an SS.. i don’t know maybe somehow pioli can change his position, because he’s young, he still can learn a lot.. for the collombian, he’s doing great at chinese league, but again it’s just chinese league. so maybe he need time to adjust, just like gabi.. belloti and petagna will be different, they’re proven for serie a, just like icardi was for samdoria..^^
Agree theyre only our 2nd choice while belotti destined to bcome top striker. For petagna i never watch him yet.
So which one do you propose, belotti to complete icardi or compete with icardi?
belloti will be great to compete with icardi.. he has different character with icardi, so we can have different alternatif if icardi being lock in a match.. and tbh, i have this feeling that a club like PSG, madrid or man city will broke their bank account to pay for his release clause next summer.. if that happen, we need belloti and petagna..LOL

who cares!?.. pirlo was interisti, but he play for bbilan and rubentus.. just like pirlo said, “we can grew up as a fan of some team but as professional we’re a fan of a team that we play for”(pirlo).
schelotto was a big interisti, but he’s not good enough for us.. we are professional football club, we need a professional players, not a fan to play for us..

I would rather buy Berardi than Belotti, he would complement Icardi.
as a player piolli played for rubentus.. berardi will compete with candreva and gabigol.. belotti is a striker with different playing syle. he will give us more alternative when icardi being lock by the opponent.. afterall we need a new striker to compete with icardi, to keep him motivated..
If we have icardi n belloti duo, it would be amazing since we have good midfield n winger to provide them both. Also I see improvement on icardi movement off the ball so maybe hes ready to have partner now after failed with osvaldo
On icardi release clause, i think we should raise it since many team easily splash 100m for one player.
