After a difficult win for the Nerazzurri against Palermo, Roberto Gagliardini spoke with INTER Channel:
“I think we did one of our best games, but we struggled to create chances. Then there was the cross from Candreva and we scored and after losing a player we still managed the result. The coach asked me to cover today, counter attacks are their best weapon. Playing alongside Brozovic was not very different because the roles are the same. Maybe with Brozo I have more tasks of coverage, because he likes to attack and I have to cover. I also find Kondogbia a good partner.”
He then went on to say: “Compared to Bergamo there are more people looking at me, many more fans who follow me. I’m happy to have made this jump, and for what I’m doing. Now we must think of Pescara. Today was important given the other results. Sunday we will have the help of the public” (meaning the fans at home).
