Waiting to return to the field after the serious injury suffered, Caner Erkin, Inter‘s left-back on loan at Besiktas, spoke with Bein Sports revealing how he has evolved since his brief spell in Milan:
“Roberto Mancini wanted me and I was happy to move to Milan, then De Boer came and I honestly didn’t understand him. He didn’t know any of us, he didn’t speak to me for three or four days and then he told me that he couldn’t count on me, without any explanation.”
“It didn’t seem like I should stay in that situation, so I began negotiations to go to another club. I finally got to Besiktas, and I want to stay with this club which will grow in the coming years.”

Well, I´ve seen him a couple of times play for Turkey (once live at the stadium with Turkey) and he deffently did NOT impress me back then. He seemed slow, had bad crosses (when he dissided to go forward which wasn’t often). Ansaldi isn’t great but still seems a bit better than Erkan…
