The former Inter, Alex Telles, now in Porto, could be the new native of the Italian national team. Giampiero Ventura, Italy’s head coach, spoke to the Portuguese newspaper Record about the Brazilian player:
“Should he be eligible for Italy, I will take him. We’ve been following him for some time as other players with Italian passports. I will observe him in the Champions League match between Porto and Juventus and I will attend the second leg, even if my presence will be normal given the many Italians in Juve.”
