Dejan Stankovic has been appointed as an adviser to UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin. The former Inter midfielders job will be to help European footballing associations help nurture their young talents from the ages of 14/15 to become professionals one day. Speaking on the appointment he said: “I played for 20 years and now is the time to write a new page in my life. For me it is an honour to work for UEFA and have a chance to give something back to football.”
