I usually do quick summaries of our games, but this game was next level Pazza Inter Amala. What a game. The last thing I expected before this game was an absolute trashing, I expected a close fought game. And don’t get me wrong, Atalanta weren’t even that bad, we just played like CL winning team, scored like almost every shot we took for a change. Icardi just being Icardi – casual hattrick, cheeky panenka penalty. Banega has been absolutely world class lately, 4 goals 3 assists in last 2 games. Sometimes still hard to believe we got him for free. All I can say after this game is feels good man. An absolute trashing of Nerazzurri rivals and direct competitors for top spots.
Banega kinda like Cambiasso, we also got him for free. i hope we stick with Banega for few more seasons.

I’ve seen him play. His reputation is deserved. Really composed on the ball, left footed, which is rare, and not only has a decent speed, but knows how to use it too. He seems better than Varane, to me.
I think Guardiola wanted him last summer, but was convinced to take Stones by the english scouts, probably cause they felt he might settle in easier, being english. Then Laporte renewed his contract & raised the clause from 40 to 65. We should move in before anyone else takes him, in my opinion.
Also, take Semedo. Him with Berardi on the right wing, Rodri with Perisic on the left. Team will be set.

Banega has had TWO good games against Empoli and Atalanta. MArio had a great performance against RUBE AS CAM. I’m not saying Mario should start, but it’s a blessing that we have good players to pick from for CAM position. Banega is no Messi/Ronaldo to have best performance every game, he will have his ups and downs and so as Mario. Nice thing is, once one dips form, we will have the other to cover…
