Roberto Gagliardini spoke to Gazzetta TV on the sidelines of the Gazzetta Cup: “The first thing that comes to my mind when participating in initiatives such as this are the sacrifices that my parents made to take me to the camp. It is a very important event for children who are starting to enter the world of football.”

He also spoke on the joke former team mate made about him scoring “useless goals”: “If we continue to score five that’s OK…Seriously I try to help out the team as I did even when I did not score. When I scored I had a set of emotions inside. I was happy for the goal, a bit of disappointment though as it was against the team who raised me. It was a heavy result for them, although it does not diminish what they have done and I’m sure on Sunday they will rise again. ”

Finally he spoke on Inter’s Champions League hopes and Stefano Pioli: “We must always play to win, we will see at the end where we will be. The coach has helped me to integrate myself into the team. He has very clear ideas and prepares very well for games.”
