Stefano Pioli: “The Derby at 12:30? First we play Torino”

Stefano Pioli also spoke to Inter Channel on the day of his pre-Torino press conference:

How was training this week, what have you improved upon?

“We immediately got to work after analysing what we done on Sunday. Torino are hard to beat at home, so we started working a day earlier but with this gives us the best possible preparation for this game.”

Does the international break come at a helpful time?

“The calendars are there to be seen but we have to think about Saturday. We also think that the last break was long ago. We will have a lot of people away, but the squad can not catch their breath so we can do our best in the final push.”

After the break it’s Sampdoria on a Monday then the derby at 12:30…

“The game on Monday after the break will be useful as it gives us more time to evaluate the conditions of those who return from international duty on the Thursday and understand how to prepare. The derby is the derby, we but we must think about the next game.”

How was your meeting with Fabio Di Luigi?

“Very nice, simple, he is equal to what I see in the movies.”
