Neapolitan journalist Raffaele Auriemma spoke to Domenica Premium about the future of Dries Mertens and Inter’s requests.
“The question of Mertens embraces personal components. Since he started scoring like a real striker, he has attracted interest from a lot of clubs, including Italian,” he said.
“There is Inter, who are pressing to his agents and lawyers. They are also interested in Faouzi Ghoulam.”
“I would not want it to be a kind of revenge from Inter, as last year Napoli tried to wrest Icardi.”

Imagining Mertens yesterday in Perisic role..hmmmm..
We would have wait for ADL to kill himself first before we can take one of his player
True..on the other hand..Mertens is not signing a new contract,he does not want to stay in that city(and who can blame him?)so..is ADL going to let it quickly expire and then let Mertens leave for free?
Somehow I don’t think so.
Mertens wants to leave and he will leave this summer.
So,now, the player will has a lot of weight.
ADL cannot just say:
” I will sell you,but only if out of Italy” if Mertens actually wanted to come in Milano and the price was right.
Will not happen.
