I know Verratti probably won’t join us, still – would be awesome! I saw the Italy-Albania game and everyone knows what he´s capable of doing with the ball at his feet (his passes are at Pirlo´s level no-doubt) but what I notice the most about him in that game, was what he did WITH OUT the ball! He was really impressive in recovering the ball! I noticed him winning headers at least 2 and he had at least 3-4 successfully sliding tackles where he recovered the ball!
He is a much more complete midfielder than Pirlo ever was I my view!
