According to Tuttosport, it’s a two horse race between Stefano Pioli and Antonio Conte in regards to who will be in charge next season.
On the one hand, Pioli has built up a level of trust with Suning and done a very good job up until now, and on the other, Conte who has delayed renewal talks with Chelsea until the end of the season.
The chances of Diego Simeone joining the Nerazzurri are falling as Tuttosport report. The former Inter player is expected to stay at Atletico Madrid for another season.
Conte is Suning’s first option, but if he does renew his contract with the Blues, it’s no problem because Pioli has done a great job and deserves the post.

Pioli doesn’t win important/big games and that will be his downfall at Inter. We will finish 3rd-5th next yr due to this… I know the player have to perform at the end of the day but the coach sets the lineup/formation/tactics. So far Pioli has done a poor job in doing this in important games, just my opinion.
I’m fine with Pioli being coach next yr if that means we get Simeone the yr after. I depise Juve but I can’t deny that Conte is one hell of a coach, all hatred aside.

We’d be mad to deny that Conte is a great tactician. But Pioli is doing good, Conte would cost a lot (and not just financially—he is a Juve legend) and if we we recruit great players for Pioli and things don’t work out we still have great players to lure in a coach like Simeone in the future (he will arrive 1 day let’s face it)
