FCInterNews reports that the Mayor of Milan has spoken on the upcoming derby match, VAR and the stadium situation between both Inter and Milan.
On the Upcoming Derby:
“Inter has more points than they deserve, Milan probably has less. The distance between the two teams does not reflect their real values. That is why it will be a derby loaded with tension.”
On VAR:
“It is true that it is likely to slow down gaming times, but so far it has convinced me, it’s good to use technology.”
On the Stadium:
Sala admitted that he wanted to take up to 6 months to renovate San Siro and start work by 2018.
“San Siro is a priority for both clubs, the museum makes incredible numbers but overall revenue is to be multiplied at a commercial level. It will have a more rational stage, more modern… Fassone yesterday brought us a clear message. The ownership of Milan has been ready to invest for San Siro Month for months since the new owners had just settled down.”
