According to several reports in Italian media, Japanese international full-back, Yuto Nagatomo, could be on his way out from the Nerazzurri.
According to reports both in Sky Sport Italia and Premium Sport, La Liga side Real Betis and Turkish giants Galatasaray are going head to head to secure the services of the former Cesena player. The offer that Inter have received is reportedly a dry loan for which the Nerazzurri will receive €1 million, where an option is included to make the transfer for €7-8 million.
Nagatomo’s agent, Federico Pastorello, is reportedly on his way to Istanbul to negotiate terms for his client directly on location with Galatasaray. Inter coach Luciano Spalletti revealed last week that the Japanese international asked him for more playing time given that Japan have qualified for the FIFA World Cup later this year and Nagatomo does not want to risk losing his spot in the team.
Yuto Nagatomo joined Inter in exactly eight years ago during the 2011 January transfer window and has since then featured 210 times in all competitions scoring 11 times in the process.
