Suning Under Fire For Lack Of Investment In Inter

The discontent at Suning’s lack of investment in to Inter has spread outwith Italy and reached the Inter owner’s homeland of China.

Tuttosport have taken a look at the situation and ponder what will happen in the next transfer window.

“One wonders, above all, what will happen in the next transfer window, also in light of the heavy restrictions on foreign investment that the Chinese government have imposed. The January limitations were as a result of the sanctions enacted by the regulations of financial fair play, but what the fans would like to know – and probably not just the fans – is what will happen in the next transfer window, both with Inter in the Champions League, at best, and with Inter out of European football’s most prestigious event.”

A group of Chinese Inter fans yesterday protested outside Suning headquarters in Nanjing at the way the club is being run. They also had a banner, both in English and Chinese which had the following message on it, “You do not win true respect from Nerazzurri without true love for Inter.”
