Inter have told Lazio that Stefan de Vrij will be signing with them and done so 20 days ago according to a report from Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.
“The Nerazzurri club officially informed Lazio of the current negotiations [between themselves and de Vrij] as well as the intention of the player to sign for Inter twenty days ago.”
Tuttosport have also revealed the details of the contract that the Dutchman will sign upon joining the San Siro club on a free transfer in the summer once his contract in the Italian capital is up. The 26-year-old has agreed a deal in principle to sign a five year deal with an annual salary of €4 million, which will begin July 1st when the transfer window officially opens.
The central defender has spent the past four seasons with the Biancocelesti and come on leaps and bounds since his transfer from Feyenoord. This season he has been near ever present for Simone Inzaghi’s side appearing on 36 occasions.
