Memphis Depay has distanced himself from the recent reports circulating in the media that are linking him with both Inter and Milan among other clubs.
“I am focused on Lyon. I live day by day and if clubs are interested in me, this is certainly not the time to talk about it,” the attacker told reporters after Holland cruised to a 3-0 victory over reigning European Champions Portugal last night in a friendly match.
He proceeded to discuss Milan in particular adding, “Milan is a great club and a great team that has a great history, but there are many great clubs around the world.”
The Dutchman joined Lyon 18 months ago after failing to live up to expectations at Manchester United following a big money move from PSV Eindhoven in 2015.
This season the 24-year-old winger has made a total of 43 appearances for the French club across all competitions, scoring 10 goals and providing 13 assists for teammates.
