Mauro Icardi has showcased the true meaning of being a captain by welcoming all of the new signings and offering to help them in any way he can according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.
The Argentine forward, who has had the captain’s armband for a few years now, personally called each and every one of the five new arrivals at the Nerazzurri to date to welcome them to the club and offered to help them with whatever they needed such as finding homes and finding schools for their children should they have them, among other things.
Radja Nainggolan confirmed this in his official unveiling as an Inter player while newest signing Lautaro Martinez confirmed it in his interview too. Icardi also took his compatriot Martinez back to the airport after he was first in Milan and took his medical tests at the club ahead of his move which was confirmed yesterday.
