At the moment, the player closest to leaving Inter is Joao Mario, who is currently on vacation after Portugal’s World Cup stint in Russia that brought the team to the last 16, where they were eliminated by South American side Uruguay.
Italian sports newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport tries to break everything down in its web edition of today’s paper. “The Portuguese player is in talks with English side Wolverhampton Wanderers – who this season will make their return to the English Premier League after a six-year absence – after the club contacted his agent Jorge Mendes.
“Inter however have not received an official offer yet. In order for the club to avoid a net loss on the Joao Mario deal, there is no way they can sell the player for less than €27 million.”
La Gazzetta dello Sport finishes by stating that: “Should such an offer arrive from England, they will close the deal in less than 2 minutes.”
