Vidal’s Agent Didn’t Think Everything Was Fine With Inter

Rome based publication Corriere dello Sport have tried to reconstruct what really happened with regards to Inter’s move for Arturo Vidal.

The player’s agent Fernando Felicevich left Milan with Inter still trying to close the deal that all of a sudden opened up on Monday after Bayern Munich gave the green light for a loan deal with the right to redemption attached in a deal worth somewhere between €20-25 million. At this point Inter could have closed deal in no time, but for some reason the agent felt that everything was not alright, so he decided to get on the next plane to Barcelona – who offered a fee of around €22 million for a straight up transfer of the former Juventus man.

According to Corriere dello Sport it was not only because Luka Modric entered in to the equation that Inter put their Vidal pursuit on standby but because they judged the Chilean’s physical condition to not be at its best.
