Modric’s Desire To Leave Keeps Hope Of Inter Move Alive

Despite the events of recent days, Luka Modric’s determination to leave Real Madrid has Inter still hopeful that a move can be done according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez continues to make things difficult for both Modric and the Nerazzurri. He continues to refuse to meet with the Croatian midfielder and delegate things to his right hand man Jose Angel Sanchez all while maintaining that unless a club pays Modric’s €750 million release clause then he is going absolutely nowhere.

Modric, who has remained professional throughout the sage, is upset by Perez’s attitude and continues to demand that Perez respects his promise that if Modric were to win three Champions League’s with Los Blancos then he is free to leave to face a new challenge.

Inter are waiting patiently for news and despite reports in the past week suggesting that if Modric were to fly with Real to Estonia for the UEFA Super Cup any potential move would be dead, Gazzetta report that even if he does go to Tallinn, the move is still possible.
