Spalletti Tempted To Field A 3-4-2-1 For Inter vs Torino

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Luciano Spalletti might have a little surprise against Torino. He might abandon his 4-2-3-1 in favor for a 3-4-2-1.

The Inter coach might be tempted to deploy a 3-4-2-1 as he has been trying it out during training. He has three giants in defense in Miranda, Skriniar, and De Vrij. An as he waits for Radja Nainggolan to return to full fitness, it appears he might field Brozovic and Vecino in the middle (leaving Gagliardini on the bench) with Vrsaljko and Asamoah controlling the wide areas of the pitch.

Spalletti has spent some time yesterday thinking about the two players he will play behind Mauro Icardi. He has four possible players for two positions, with Perisic and Politano in pole position to start from the first minute. Keita and Lautaro could start from the bench, especially after Lautaro’s unimpressive debut against Sassuolo.

The possible lineup looks like this:

Inter (3-4-2-1): Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Miranda; Vrsaljko, Vecino, Brozovic, Asamoah; Politano, Perisic; Icardi
