Mauro Icardi’s goal in Inter’s 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League on Tuesday night has been named a goal of the week candidate by the competitions organisers UEFA.
The Argentine striker’s volley is up for nomination alongside goals from Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele, Real Madrid’s Mariano Diaz and Bayern Munich’s Renato Sanches.
