Inter Defender Dalbert Hopeful That Former Club Get Stolen Money Back

Inter full back Dalbert has shared his disappointment at learning the money that Barra Mansa received as part of his transfer from Nice to Inter has been stolen by some of the clubs executives in an interview with Fair Play Assessoria.

“It’s a pity. Barra Mansa was my first professional club in Brazil. When the club had the chance to breathe a little financially and invest in the youth categories, individuals such as these people, who only think of themselves, are making things difficult. I hope those at fault serve their time well away from football and that the money finds its way back to Barra Mansa.”

“Barra Mansa opened their doors to me yes, but I would not say that the club bearing the name of the city where I was born, due to the incompetence of current and previous executives, deserves to receive any financial help. When I was there, there was no basics such as decent housing, food or training equipment and I left the club still awaiting wages which I have still not received.”
