Inter Vice President Javier Zanetti stopped by Inter TV after the 5 a side friendly fixture between Inter Forever and Barcelona Legends outside of the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district.
The former Nerazzurri captain was asked about the match that Inter Forever won 3-2 stating that: “It was an intense match, with a comeback too. The most important thing is that we enjoyed ourselves, we are happy. We want to thank Barcelona Legends who really did everything they could to be here tonight.”
In conclusion the former Inter number 4 was asked about the size of the pitch to which he replied: “It was a bit small. Great debut by Vieri who was the reason we won the match. After the first half coach Toldo was in risk of getting sacked [laughs]. The crowd is always fantastic, this is Inter’s DNA. Now everyone to the San Siro to support the lads.”
