Inter Manager Spalletti: “There Is Regret For Not Fielding de Vrij”

Luciano Spalletti reflected on his side’s 4-1 thumping from Atalanta in an interview with Radio Rai.

“They started off strongly. In the second half we made too many mistakes and Atalanta, thanks to their physicality, were able to drag us around the pitch. This is a match that we have to remember and take on board and have to correct what went wrong,” he said.

Spalletti then spoke on his decision not to field Stefan de Vrij in Bergamo.

“There is regret but we are all masters in hindsight but we have twenty players capable of starting, I prefer not to answer these questions anymore.”
