Inter Target Tonali Not Thinking Of Transfer Rumours

Sandro Tonali is not concerning himself with the circulating reports linking him with all sets of moves to a host of clubs as he is just focusing on making the most of his full Italian national team call-up.

“The first few days have been positive. Everyone has put me at ease and they are happy about my call. It is a dream for all kids, and my teammates and the club are happy too. Until yesterday I only watched the national team on TV, I can only take an example here,” the youngster told reporters from Italy’s Coverciano training base.

“I am not listening to transfer rumours, it is best not to consider them. Staying with Brescia was the right choice, because at 17 it is hard to play in Europe.”

As part of the interview the now 18-year-old spoke on the Andrea Pirlo comparisons and his footballing idol.

“Pirlo inspired me but I have never seen another player like him. Maybe my hair is similar to his. My role model was Gattuso.”
