Inter striker Lautaro Martinez has spoken on what playing for Inter means to him.
“Playing at San Siro is fantastic, there is an exceptional atmosphere there. Playing for Inter is very important for me and there is a great responsibility, I am here because I want to be here, I chose it. I enjoy every moment I play and I always give one hundred percent to the cause,” he said in an interview with Inter TV.
Life in Nerazzurri got off to a great start with a solid showing in pre-season but since competitive action has come round, the Argentine international has perhaps not had the expected amount of playing time having been forced to play as second fiddle to Mauro Icardi rather than alongside him in a striking partnership. The 21-year-old has made seven appearances this season for a total of 294 minutes and has one goal to his name in that time.
