Nicola Innocentin, one of the intermediaries in Rafinha’s move to Inter last January, has refused to role out a possible San Siro return in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport on the sidelines of the WyScout forum.
“Rafinha done very well in Milan and left his mark there and the fans still hold him in their hearts. I hope to see him play again in Italy,” he said.
“Can he move to Inter or Roma? The doors are open to anyone and anything.”
The Brazilian midfielder joined the Nerazzurri on an initial six month loan with Inter having an option to turn the move permanent at the end of the season for a sum of €35 million. Despite performing well and helping Inter reach the Champions League, Inter did not take up their option on the 25-year-old due to financial fair play reasons which meant that he had to return to parent club Barcelona.
