Barcelona are ahead of Inter in the race to secure the signature of Paris Saint Germain ace Adrien Rabiot according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.
The main reason for this is in the fact that Rabiot has set his sights on a transfer to the Blaugrana over the Nerazzurri among others for quite some time.
Barcelona’s project, the opportunity to play alongside Lionel Messi and the high salary that the Catalan club can propose are all believed to be factors in the French midfielder’s decision.
Rabiot’s current contract in the French capital runs until the end of the current season and it is understood that he has knocked back several attempts from them to renew his deal at the Parc des Princes, adding weight to the speculation that he is set on a move elsewhere.
Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo in fact have already reported that Rabiot and Barcelona have an agreement over personal terms and the contract has been signed.
