Former Inter striker Paolo Stringara has urged Inter to keep a hold of central defender Milan Skriniar amidst continued interest in his services from a wealth of clubs across Europe.
“We should understand what Inter are wanting to do with him. If they are wanting to win then they need to go keep important players at the club not only because in case of transfer they would be reinforcing a direct competitor but when Inter finds a certainty like him, they must keep him,” he said in an interview with RMC Sport.
Skriniar joined the Nerazzurri back in the summer of 2017 and has far exceeded expectations and firmly asserted himself as one of the best defenders in world football. Chelsea, Manchester United and Barcelona to name but a few have all been quoted as interested in the Slovakian, who has a contract with Inter until the end of the 2021/22 season.
