There was no time for rest as Inter were back in training yesterday at Appiano Gentile after their 3-0 win over Frosinone ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League match with Tottenham Hotspur.
According to a report from Corriere dello Sport, Sime Vrsaljko once again trained separately to the rest of his teammates and as a result his presence in London is in serious doubt.
The Croatian international full back picked up an injury during the most recent international break and he was forced to miss Saturday’s aforementioned win over the Canarini.
It remains to be seen if Inter manager Luciano Spalletti will opt to include Vrsaljko in the squad for the Spurs game and including or not including him will say all that needs to be said about his current condition.
Vrsaljko joined Inter during the summer on a season long loan from Atletico Madrid but multiple injuries have stunted his progress with the club and limited him to just seven appearances across all competitions.
